Alfredo Salim Helito

Graduated in Medicine from the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo (FCMSCSP) - 1981 - 14th class. Since finishing his residency in 1983, he has been a general practitioner at the Sírio Libanês Hospital, where he is a member of the clinical staff. He also sees patients in his private clinic. A family doctor, he participates in the IEP (Teaching and Research Institute) at the Sírio Libanês Hospital, giving lectures and courses. He is responsible for the Clinical Observation internship at the Sírio Libanês Hospital for students from all the medical schools in Brazil. Between 2011 and 2012, and also between 2013 and 2014, he was chairman of the Ethics Committee at the Sírio Libanês Hospital.
