He graduated in Medicine from the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Santos and obtained a PhD in Gastroenterology from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo in 2006. He currently heads the Liver Transplant service at the A.C.Camargo Cancer Center. In his routine, he works mainly with digestive tract surgery, videolaparoscopy, hepato-biliopancreatic surgery and inter-vivos liver transplantation.
